As we can read in book "Polskie Linie Oceaniczne - Album Floty 1951 - 2011" edited by PORTA MARE GDYNIA ;

Oryginal data : 6850 BRT , 4100 NRT , 9355 DWT ,

Changed ( 1954 ) to : 8876 BRT , 5390NRT , 10180 DWT
Speed max: 15.5knots
Class : LRS+100A1 / changed to PRS (1962).
Propulsion : 2 x Bremer Vulcan MAN - TOTALLY 6740 Hp.
As per owners data : The vessel was chartered by Chinese Polish Shipbrokers ( called Chipolbrok) AND
till end of her long life engaged in service between
Poland and People Republic of China . Nobody mentioned
Pof about some North Viet-Nam episode .

Thank you Hans Wilhelm for posting your superb and rare photograph of a ship which took about six months to make each round voyage between Poland and North Vietnam - I suggest that the date may have been around August 11th 1969 as she had sailed from Gdynia on August 9th bound for Haiphong - can you confirm or advise differently please?
