"FORELLE" Built in 1934 july 4 by the German shipbuilders Flensburg to "Flensburger Foerde Motorschifffahrtsgesellschaft"./ Sister Vessels:"LIBELLE" /Vessel's History: / The lovely 23-metre motor ship FORELLE had a busy ocean-going commercial life before being bought by the Lithuanians in 2003. The one-time transporter of butter between Denmark and Germany,FORELLE and LIBELLE with joy started their legendaries ‘Butter voyages’. Not carrying about opponents and the appearance of the new ships both ships sailed years from Flensburg (Germany) to Kolund (Denmark).
In 1984 Forelle was sold. The ship sailed on the Elb’s river and her new port became Buxtehude. The ship operated a tour
service from Nida around the Curonian Lagoon before moving to Klaipeda two years later. Complete with two decks, one inside and the other open to the elements, bar and a restaurant service featuring waiters in bow ties,FORELLE is now available for charter hire for groups of up to 70 people for anything from four hours upwards.In 1993 the engine was replaced by a new Hanomag-Henschel engine./ BRT:53.92 t., Lenght : 23 m .,
