The tug Presque Isle pushes its barge, also named the Presque Isle into the lock at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. An intergrated tug/barge, the total length of tug and barge is 1,000 feet long, the longest tug/barge combo on the Great Lakes. The tug Presque Isle was built in 1973 by Halter Marine Service of New Orleans, Louisiana.
