Description:
Asiatic Steam Navigation Company's Rajah arriving at Rangoon. She and her sister Ranee were the last Asiatic ships built to a company design and Rajah was delivered by its favoured builder, Lthgows, in 1949. Of 8300 tons dwt she was powered by a triple expansion engine with exhaust turbine giving a speed of 14 knots. Sold in 1971 and renamed Amanda she went to Kaohsiung breakers the following year.
