Description:
P&O cargo liner Surat in KGV Dock, London. Completed by Vickers Armstrong in 1948 she was 11590 tons dwt, powered by steam turbines and had a speed of 17 knots. In 1968 she suffered the indignity of being renamed Pando Head but mercifully was broken up at Inverkeithing in 1972.
