Description:
Brocklebank's Matra approaching Smiths Dock, North Shields. Completed by Wm Hamilton in 1949 she was, like all the company's ships in those days, powered by steam turbines to give a speed of 15 knots. Sold in 1971 she was renamed Aegis Save 1 and was broken up at Gandia the following year.
