06-07-1990 sank off the Dutch coast in a position 53.31N,05.23E after the wire with which she was towing a floating dock broke and she collided with the dock,which subsequently drifted ashore on Terschelluing island.
The Wotan has been raised and arrived during the night 31-08--01-09-1990 at Eemshaven .Supported by the Begian floating crane Norma and pontoons Bizon and Ram,she was towed in by the motor tugs Boxer and Thomas de Gauwdief and Waterman.She was subsequently towed to Bremerhaven,arriving there 12-09-1990 for stripping of usable parts.
The Wotan has been declared as CTL.
