|The time was far below average. There was rain in the air, no people were watching, I was tired, but wide awake. The clouds sailed fast across the sky, and I waited just to get soaked.
Then suddenly the sun came through. Five minutes of sunshine, the Queen Mary 2, where I stood with the all-time goose bumps of EPIC propotions, 04:30 in the morning June 6, 2011. It was now the coolest photo experience I've had.
ten minutes later, the rain poured down.

Hi Don and Julian, thanks for very very kind words. Got to be stubborn and.... Allmost stupid, and have a die hard-dedication some times.
It was worth it.

Fantastisk bildet! Takk! I know that feeling of goose bumps at the sight of something so wonderful as the sun striking a ship as she passes. Magnifiscent! I have a similar photo I took of NORWAY early one morning at Miami. Unfortunately it is from pre-digital days. |
