Former lightship "Bürgermeister O´Swald II" now moored at the old harbor of Cushaven, next to the Alte Liebe. Between November 1948 and April 1988 it was stationed at the position ELBE 1 at the estuary of the Elbe river to the North Sea. Now used as a museum ship, but not only as a fixed museum - from time to time it does special journey "Museumsfahrten" (e.g. to the island of Helgoland, to Hamburg etc.). Her predecessor the "Bürgermeister O´Swald" sunk in 1936 in a severe hurricane together with 15 men.
