I have posted a photo of the earlier, Polish-built SAPELE, which was operated by EDL on charter from German owners.

Hi Chris

This is B430/7/11 - the second Sapele of the series as Simon says. The first 6 of the B430 series, B430/I type had a different array of derricks, the last 6, B430/7 had 6 x 36t derricks.

sold to Indian breakers as Senja Fjord, arrived Alang 10:07:2010, beached 13:07:2010

cheers

Allan

Hi Chris

Fine shot however I think this may be the later SAPELE (IMO 7720087) laid up on River Blackwater in July/August 1984.

Simon
