Description:
King Line's 1953 Belfast built KING ARTHUR was here photographed at Singapore in late 1981 as GREENLEAF
Brought into the Clan Line fleet in 1959, the witnessing of KING ARTHUR sailing past Portishead around 1961, at close quarters with engines thundering, was one of my earliest shipping memories.
Later: 1972 TOULLA (Alassia S.S. - Vassos Hajioannou)
1979: DESPO
1980: PEARL RAINBOW (Lucky Dragon, Singapore) - in mid 1981 reported sold to Pakistan breakers but sold for further trading and renamed GREENLEAF, being beached at Chittagong on 30.6.83 to be broken up
