Thank you, Chris. I finally found the right MOSEL. I remembered coming to Georgetown Guyana in the mid-80s. What a sleek-looking vessel. She had an unfortunate incident whilst moored at GNSC wharf. She somehow broke her moorings and came to rest on a coaster vessel moored behind her. My father who was Harbour Master at the time had to re-position her back to her original moorings. I think the incident happened at night.

28 years ago on the 2/7/1983 she became the first containership to exchange containers at Bluff NZ, tiny in comparison to the 2500-3500 TEU ships that visit now from MSC.
