Description:
The Australind was completed by Bartrams in 1961 for Trnder, Anderson's Australind Steam Navigation Company, long associated with the West Australia trade hence the black swan on flag and funnel. The company's name derived from Australia and India, an early trade. Australind was renamed Johanna U in 1975, Arabian Merchant in 1983, Lemonia in 1984 and was broken up in Pusan the same year.
