Farewell to my first tanker as deck cadet : she was brand new and all was fine. Scrapped in Gadani Beach on July 2014.

I was on board on this tankers between 1997-1998 as deck cadet : her name was Tribute, then she was sold to another owner in 2004 and her name was changed to Olinda. Now I see that she was sold for the third time. Good ship, except mooring arrangement poorly planned by shipyard but, however, was the same problem on her sisterships too, Eco Europa (now Al Mubharakha) and Eco Africa (scrapped in 2010 due to huge fire in engine room). At that time, she was technically managed by Barber Ship management of Oslo and the arrangement of cargo plant was much better of her sisterships, same matter for accomodations, outfittings, cargo plant on deck, pump room and engine room, far ahead of the actual standards required.
