Description:
Russian non-magnetic oceanographic research vessel ZARJA (or ZARYA) in Antwerp July 1983, when she received new masts. Built 1952 in Finland, 333grt, wood auxiliary three-masted schooner. Does anyone know if she still exists, or, if no longer, what was her ultimate fate ?

I remember how and when writing this article, and all of us, the sailors and scientists "Dawn", believed in her lucky star ...

It took another ten years, "Dawn" was yet another overhaul, this time in the city of Antwerp.

But soon after repair the country started to reform and, ... Academy of Sciences, Great Country has no money to pay its scientists.

"Dawn" was sold for a song by some random people who dragged her to a dirty beach in the Gulf region Oranienbaum and burned down, having produced such an exotic way to a few tons of non-ferrous metals ...

Comment on the criminal barbarity I do not want and will not ... It hurts, you know ...
