My grandfather,Mauri Karkkainen,sailed from Liverpool to Quebec on the Metagama on 8th October, 1920. I have his third class Immigration Identification Card in front of me. By the stamp on the card, he arrived at the Dominion Government Immigration Office in Quebec the 16th of October. Also payed a dollar at the American Consulate in Toronto on October 25th for preparing Alien Declaration papers & executing oath. How wonderful to find these papers amongst my fathers things..

Thanks for the picture. Just researching my Great Uncle Henry Twyman who sailed on her way back in 1920 as a a Ships Steward. Interesting story of the ship on
