Description:
Ordered from Mollers' own shipyard, the Blyth Drydock and Shipbuilding Company, as THURLAND CASTLE for their Lancashire Shipping Company, this ship was sold on the stocks to Pacific Steam Navigation and delivered in 1951 as CUZCO. Purchased by Ben Line in 1965, she traded as BENATTOW until arriving at Kaohsiung on 25.9.77 to be broken up.
The photograph was taken on 15th July 1973 as she prepared to enter the Royal Docks, London.
