I was skippering muria when photo taken, craft were kept alongside so as to avoid taking a pilot, if streamed out astern it would have been necessary to have pilot, just cutting costs and vellel handles fine with craft hipped up, regards alan

It's rather an old photo John. I remember I was very surprised when seeing the tug so in-between.
