The Cruiser is actually a DLG Destroyer light guided and this was taken when she was decommissioned as an operational ship for service she is alongside HMS Ramehead which was loaned by the Canadian government The royal navy had to pay a sum for her at the end as she was to old to return and subsequently I believe she was scrapped.. such a shame she did well and would of made a good museum for 2nd world war ships. both were used by the navy for exercises and sea scout/cadets till their final days

vintage naval craft, the vessel inboard of the cruiser is one of the North Vancouver built wartime emergency merchantmen that served the postwar dominion navies! mrdot.
