Hello Marc
The Ouessant was withdrawn from active service by the French Navy and stay in reserve for a time. After some works done by DCN she serve now as a trainer at Brest for Malaysian crews. This training program, provided by DCI’s NAVFCO branch, will allow Malaysian submariners to acquire the skills needed to safely operate Scorpene Class submarines ordered by the malaysian navy. So this submarine still named as Ouessant but she's no more the French navy S623 Ouessant...

Thanks for the info Xtian.
I gather that she's now civilian owned, DCN or DCI?

Salut Xtian
You mentioned former French Navy. Has she been sold to a foreign navy?
