PZ182 ASTHORE,seen here in Mevagissey's inner harbour at low tide. She is a Buccaneer B46 class,the UK's largest purpose built ring netter and was built by Buccaneer Boats of Cambourne,Cornwall. She is based at Newlyn being too deep drafted for her home port of Mevagissey, when fully laden. She is a 14 mtr GRP boat with a 17 ft beam and a max carrying capacity of 18 tonnes and targets mainly Cornish sardines and anchovy.
