Clive, well, what can I say? Slowly "thank you" seems to become a rather insufficient expression for all the kind words said about this photo. But I can't think of anything else, so... Thank you very, very much, Clive!:-)

I'm a fan of passenger ships, especially cruise liners, so I would never be able not to take a photo when there's one around. I'm even hoping to catch Norwegian Epic one day which even I think (Sorry, Søren!):-) is downright ugly.

Best regards,
Jens

Jens, I will join in the chorus of praise; this is indeed a very good photo, you have captured the moment very well and one can almost expect the image to move. I am one of those who finds no beauty in most of the modern cruise ship fleet and when I saw this ship in Istanbul I did not even bother to photograph her. Nevertheless, you have created a very striking photo.

Hi Søren, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm really happy that you enjoy watching my photos and that's an incentive for me to try and make better ones. - And yes, I like today's cruise liners, too. Ok, the golden oldies from the past looked MUCH nicer, but I can't say (like many others do) that the present vessels are downright ugly. No, they are not. They're different and have to be. We're living in the 21st century and design changes with the requirements the ship has to fulfill.

Now thanks again, Søren!:-)

Kind regards
Jens

Hi Jens. Like the others, I can't resist praising You for this one either... This is a truly amazing shot of a - in my opinion - very beautiful liner! You have certainly done a magnificent job here, and I always enjoy watching your pictures ;-)

Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work!

/Søren

Thank you very, very much, Ria! Had to upload this one... though it's only about two months since I made this photo I'm already missing the sun and the sea during my holiday and I'm a bit surprised that in only six weeks time it will be Christmas...:-o
