Unfortunately, like so many things these days, it came down to money, the company ran it for as long as it could while the recession deepened, but ultimately the she was laid up for some time then it was decided that it was finically unviable to bring her up to operational level and as no buyers took her up, she was sold for scrap. It's quite sad to see it in this state.

Does anyone know why the Donald Redford has been scrapped.
