Nuship CHOULES, a landing ship dock, enters Fremantle Harbour where she will be commissioned into the RAN.
Named after former Chief Petty Officer Claude Choules who served in both the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy and was the last known WWI veteran.
Ship was originally built for and operated with the Royal Fleet Axillary as RFA LARGS BAY, Landing Ship Dock, (IMO 9240756, MMSI 232653000).
She will be commissioned in the Royal Australian Navy on 13th December 2011.
