Description:
The Krishna Jayanti anchored in the Hooghly River. Built for Court Line as Jeveington Court by Bartram & Sons she was delivered in 1956 and renamed in 1962 when bought by the Indian Jayanti Line. When this company went bankrupt she passed to Shipping Corporation of India and was renamed Shankara in 1974, being broken up at Bombay in 1976.
