Description:

Gulf Shipping's CONFIDENCE EXPRESS was photographed anchored off Apapa/Lagos on 4th January 1976. She had arrived on 15.9.75 with a cargo of cement from the Black Sea and eventually sailed for Piraeus on 20.7.76.

Built at Greenock in 1959 for Houlder Brothers as SWAN RIVER, she briefly traded between 1971 and 1973 as PREMIER ATLANTIC before sale to Abbas Gokal who later traded her (in 1979-80) as BACHLONG and then as EASTERN CONCORD until she was beached at Bombay on 30.1.83 to be broken up.
