Description:

Seen here getting underway with assistance from the Tugs Storm Cove heading towards the Tasman Bridge and to sea accompanied by the Pilot Boat Paringa. The Eagle Melbourne unloaded Petroleum Products, she was one of 3 Petroleum Product Tankers to visit the Selfs Pt berth in the one week, with the other 2 being Alexander Spirit and British Loyalty. It is not uncommon to see one tanker make 2 visits or 2 diferent tankers to visit in one month but to see 3 and in the one week is quite rare and from what I can find out closest this has happened before was 3 in port at the one time in late 1964, with one berthed at the old Selfs Pt Wharf, one at the old Macquarie Point Oil Wharf and one at Macquarie Wharf no 2
