Description:

ZYGOS, built at Emden in 1957, was photographed in Piraeus Roads on 7th October 1981 by Peter Davey

ex-TID-80, ex-LUXEMBURG-80(German), ex-HELGA HOWALDT-65, ZYGOS, owned by Cortado Maritime Inc (John Yiannos), subsequently suffered an engine room fire off Liberia on 3rd July 1982 while on voyage from La Pallice to Mocamedes with a cargo of wheat and was towed into Luanda on 21st August and abandoned.
