The green tug boat on the left is the former Polish tug "Posejdon". Build in 1978. In 2009 sold to Diavlos Maritime Co, Piraeus renamed "Pantanassa". I wonder why she was sold for scrap too. She was in good condition.

I think I saw her towed on 23 Dec 12 W bound english channel towards Cape Finisterre,,and on to to Turkey.
Forgot the name of the tug which towed her,,was green color. Those are the type reefer ships I sailed as capt too,,all those other reefer ships, looking like a container are for a real reefer guy a disgrace. But that,s the way it is,,an area comes to the end !!!! |

Thanks for the photo. I apricieted very much. I fitted a construction on the rudder to hold it midships and a plate (25 mm)on the propellorshaft on dec 16 2012 on her last berthed place. It was in Sluiskil, the Netherlands. To prevent that the motor could not turn, otherwise she should run without lubrication, and so the motor should
be also scrap. Now the motor can meaby have a second life in another ship. w k regard Nico Parlevliet |

I think these will be the last photographs of ATLANTIK FRIGO, and clearly the most affected is my friend Josip.
Now if that is the end ... |
