Steam powered fisheries research vessel built on the lines of a deep sea trawler. There is a small fish hold and labs occupy the rest of the hold space. Built by Alexander Hall, Aberdeen in 1955 and powered by a 1300hp triple expansion engine. Retired 1984. Now the subject of a preservation attempt by a relatively small group.
