Apparently the hull was sky blue but hard to tell. After this voyage she went into drydock and was completely sandblasted and painted, looking like a new ship when she returned to Tauranga for logs later in the year sporting a black hull.

I remember this one from her maiden voyage 1968, hauling logs to Japan on a number of visits in the late 1960s. Sad shape in this photo.
