Observations2: The general cargo BOTAFOGO was one of a serie of 9 vessels class B444 ordered in 1970 by various brazilian shipowners to polish shipyard Stocznia Gdanska Im Lenina, Gdansk. To be specific she was the 2nd of a total of three class vessels ordered by Empresa de Navegação Aliança S.A., Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Her home port was Rio de Janeiro.
