Description:

The 165'Tallapoosa class cutter TALLAPOOSA,is joined by a 240' Tampa class cutter,I believe the MOJAVE,at a port unknown. The black hulled freighter's name is JEAN,and sorry I don't know about the white hulled freighter.This photo was taken sometime in the 1940's and is from my collection-please feel free to identify any ships or location

Ship to the right is the AMERICAN SEAMAN(home port St. Petersburg) operated by the USCG as a training ship in 1939 to 1941. With all 3 of these CG vessels at one location it may be that this is a Port of Call for the 1941 USCG Cadet Cruise. Tallapoosa Stationed Savannah & Mojave at Miami)

I think the "Jean" is this one built in USA
Built 1918 by Bethlehem, Sparrows Point as "Cape Lookout"
