TY Chris, top stuff, my bro was on the Sydney Trader, I dont see too many pics of her about. Btw Chris, if you come across any quality Australian (ANL CO) River Boats pics please let me know, my father was on about 11 out of the 13...thanks mate!

Not always on that route, I did 18 months on Townsville Trader running Melbourne-Bell Bay. Sydnet Trader was doing Melbourne - Burnie and Brisbane Trader was running Melbourne - Devonport. Boring!!!

She was the first of three sisters the others being Sydney Ttrader and Townsville Trader built for the Australian National Line to run between Melbourne and Brisbane and later Adelaide on a coastal ro/ro service.

She really was a curious ro-ro to look at. Looked more like a very big tug with that low stern and the small double uptakes.
