Description:
This is the ex-"Sedan" ex- "MS Deutsch-Sowjetische Freundschaft", (german-sovjet friendship, no pun intended). It was renamed for obvious reasons in 1990. It is now used by a sailing-school.
It was launched in 1895 as a steamship under the name "Sedan", then renamed to "Stettin". Other former names were "Direktor Ehmke" and "Sowjetfreundschaft".
It was built in Stettin, now Szczecin, Poland, by the "Stettiner Oderwerke".
It's homeport is Norderney.
