Run by the Fairbridge Trust and heavily sponsored by the Bibby Line Group , the Spirit of Fairbridge was built between 1981 and 1985 in Liverpool by the Merseyside Trust, helping youngsters in personal development and work experience whilst being guided by specialised craftsmen. She is a 92Ft replica of a Mersey Pilot Schooner. It takes out groups of people of up to 12 from one to five day voyages around the British Isles and is based in Greenock.
