This was a romanian 4800 type cargo vessel

May be three ships in this series were sold to COSCO SHANGHAI in late 1970's, named as BAO AN, HUA AN, DONG AN. BAO AN was sold again by COSCO and renamed as ZHE YU, no further information of the other two.

Hi sailing,
Hua An renamed JIN HENG XING,IMO 7628916 and still in service at COSCO Shaghai; Dong An,IMO 7736878 also still in service at COSCO Shaghai.
Romanian built Brad type.

Andreas I can confirm the info of Ilhan. I took the vessel in 1992 at Shanghai.

yes built by Santierul Naval Galatz S.A.in Romania.1974
owned by Zhejiang Ocean Shipping Co.
i remember some ships built by Romania for China this type but how many i dont know
