Jens Boldt on Apr 23, 2012 19:42 (6 years ago)
Henk, I'm happy that you like it that much that it found the way into your collection! And no, no crying here, I only tried to comfort Theo a little. He's having such a hard time in Brazil (see the comments below):-D

Dave, you're right of course. When it comes to photos of containerships I'm cold as ice and only calculating will the photo make the Top 3. Well, most of the time they won't...
Magogman on Apr 23, 2012 16:00 (6 years ago)
Jens cry? He does seem to get emotional when he see container ships.
Henk de Winde on Apr 23, 2012 14:34 (6 years ago)
Don't cry Jens! You make one person happy with this fully loaded, nice coloured vessel for my private collection! (With empty containers).
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 22:34 (6 years ago)
Theo, please accept my deep sympathy!:-D
Captain Ted on Apr 22, 2012 22:20 (6 years ago)
Jens,,that,s rough sailors plight :-) !!!!
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 22:10 (6 years ago)
Tino, I am counting on you (for the ones I didn't catch)!:-)

Theo, certainly, I can imagine you were completely at their mercy. Well, I'd really like to join you. Not for the pay-back-part, though, but for the weather and the beauty of nature in Brazil. I could need some change of scenery...:-)
Captain Ted on Apr 22, 2012 21:59 (6 years ago)
Jens,,they molested me !!! and I am still here to pay back:-)). Now in Barra dos Coqueiros, until 25-4.
Agustin Alapont Castilla (Tino) on Apr 22, 2012 21:55 (6 years ago)
Hi Dave,dónt worry I will try make photos of they
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 21:51 (6 years ago)
Hm, every Saturday and Sunday? When do they depart? Last year in September I didn't see no E-class at Rotterdam. (Maybe that was my punishment for not letting you know I was there...)
Dave van Spronsen on Apr 22, 2012 21:47 (6 years ago)
Yes every saturday and sunday we have an E class in our port, and they are back in 2 weaks, before heading to the far east
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 21:46 (6 years ago)
Thanks Dave, from now on you can call me "Dummy"!:-D -
Theo, hi there, back from molesting Brazilian beauties?:-))
Captain Ted on Apr 22, 2012 21:35 (6 years ago)

Dave van Spronsen on Apr 22, 2012 21:26 (6 years ago)

Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 21:16 (6 years ago)
Lucky Tino! Though I haven't had the opportunity to catch every Maersk 13,000 TEU vessel it's quite nice to have Mette, Gunvar and Gerd here. To be frank I prefer these "older" vessels to the 13,000 TEUs. I forgot to ask: What are the 15,500 TEUs? Any photos yet?
Dave van Spronsen on Apr 22, 2012 21:02 (6 years ago)
No the Maersk Edingburgh are not coming to Rotterdam anymore.
If we want to see these vessels we have to go to our tugboat captain Tino in Valencia
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 20:47 (6 years ago)
Ok then, Dave, let's make a deal. Now that I've got Mette Maersk you can have her and in exchange you send the 15,500s over here.:-D -
Where are Maersk Edinburgh and her sisters? Not calling at Rotterdam anymore, not Hamburg...
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 20:44 (6 years ago)
Tore, thanks for your kind comment!:-)
Dave van Spronsen on Apr 22, 2012 20:43 (6 years ago)

Tore Hettervik on Apr 22, 2012 20:38 (6 years ago)
Nice photo Jens
Jens Boldt on Apr 22, 2012 20:18 (6 years ago)
Thank you, Dave! But it's not all sunshine over here... in exchange for Mette Maersk and the likes we lost Maersk Line's 13,000 TEU vessels...
Dave van Spronsen on Apr 22, 2012 20:09 (6 years ago)
Yes here is the lucky man !!!
