This Pacific freezer/longliner is yet another conversion in the Seattle fishing fleet. In this case from the 1942-built water tanker YW-84, which spent the war serving the Navy's 11th district until being sold in 1976.

This is the former ALASKA GULF, and served in the Navy as the water tanker YW 84. The TEAK (AN 35), also built by Mathis, was broken up in 1976 by Levin Metals in Richmond CA.
