Built as the L.C. Sabin in 1908 by Dunham Towing & Wrecking Co.-Great Lakes Towing Co., at Chicago, IL.

Rebuilt and converted to diesel by Great Lakes Towing Co., at Cleveland, OH, 1951.
Sank 1 1/2 miles north of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH, Lake Erie, on December 9, 1968.
