Description:

Royal Navy Single Role Mine Hunter ship of the Sandown Class of which twelve were built and seven still in commission. She is only the second to bear the name Blyth , the first being a WW2 Minesweeper (J15). Launched by Vosper Thornycroft on 4th July 2000 but not accepted into the fleet until the 28th February 2001. She is seen here lying in James Watt Dock in Greenock on 12th May 2012.
