I have not been able to locate article, but pretty certain ORIANA holds the record for the fastest passage from Australia to NZ, when she was behind schedule.

1964 Set a new record for passage between Auckland and Sydney; 45 hours and 24 minutes at 27.76 knots
Completed 1960.

Clive makes a very good point. Ships should be compared and judged taking into consideration the purpose for which they were, or are built . Together with technology of the time.

There's no real point in making comparisons between an ocean liner built for speedy transoceanic voyages 50 years ago with vessels built purely for leisurely cruising today.
There was nothing at all awkward about her lines, indeed, this view shows perfectly well just how simple and refined they were. This ship was a modernised version of her fleet mates Orcades, Oronsay and Orsova. She was fast and efficient and a supreme example of British design and shipbuilding.
