Must say I kinda agree with Capt Ted, I would prefer a grainy picture that tells a story rather than a perfect 'brochure' shot. That being said I am in awe at some of the photos like this one.

Why do people get excited about this photo? The fact that the ship is new and bright-colored shouldn't influence the artistic or aesthetic qualities of the picture!

May be the website better closes when it goes only about how to get the highest klicks/hits. The comments section should be closed or taken off from the main page, it totally distorts reality. Seeminglyit is more about light and backgrounds than aboute the ship. I thought it is called shipSPOTTING and not super lighting and even better backgrounds

I think this pic would have made the top of the pops even without it being "talked" up there

Hello Robert,
Many thanks for stopping by as well as for the compliment. I have seen that sistership, too, but the light from my home was horrible at that time. I'll see if I can use them for the site. It was indeed a coincidence to see that ship a while later than her sister....
Brgds,
Ria

Thank you, Denis, for your kind compliments.
I, too, would like to make collections with the ship-pictures I like. I was used to do that on Panoramio. (Mostly other subjects than ships, of course). It's great to overlook the collected pictures later on.

Have a nice evening!
Friendly greetings,
Ria

Well done, Ria! Impressive ship & fantastic lighting! :D
Straight to my favourites!

Also wish there was a possibility on this site for members to favourite others' photos, make "collections", etc. - like on DeviantArt or Youtube.
