The name STACOCO cames from the first letters of her last owner name, 'STA'MATIS 'COCO'TAS. Stamatis Cocotas is a popular singer-artist in Greece. As you can see (???) the signals on her funnel. It's a "Bouzouki", (Greek famous musical instrument).
In Elefsis bay, Greece. Laid up in same place since 1978 untill today. In Greece we know her as STACOCO. Her last name officially is ALEXANDROS K., but i think that never sailed with this name. |
