Origin not yet found, and former name LALI may not be right. There was a different, and much larger, LALI (and listed by LR as general cargo/tanker) operating in Tuvalu islands in the 1980s, ex-CHUABO ex-CONGELLA ex-JOHANNE SCHEELE (IMO 6924911), owned by Segment Holdings Ltd, Vanuatu (Hetherington Kingsbury Pty Ltd, Sydney NSW) and scrapped 8/9/1988 by Gwo Yeong Enterprise Co at Kaohsiung.
