Built in 1908 at Ecorse, MI by Great Lakes Engineering Works
Stripped of cabins at Toronto, Ontario, in winter, 1980-81, for use as grain storage hulk in Mexico. Foundered, along with LAC DE ISLE, in tow of Canadian tug IRVING BIRCH, 145 miles ESE of Cape Charles, VA, on May 30, 1981. Position was given as 36.19N X 72.52W.
