The DAMEN 3212 ASD MULTRATUG 19 passing Maassluis enroute the Heerema location for bollard pull tests.

The MULTRATUG 19 is an 85 ton BP DAMEN ASD 3212 tug with a length of 32 mtrs and powered by 2 x Caterpillar 3516C HD TA/D main engines with a total output power of 5050 kW (6772 BHP) at 1800 rpm, both engines are driving an Rolls Royce US 255 Azimuth Thruster with a Controllable pitch propeller of 2800 mm diameter.
At the forcastle the tug is equipped with an Hydraulically driven Maaskant T 320 – HH 2 – M2 – 22 DAM escort winch with double drum with a brake capacity of 200 ton at the second layer and at the stern the tug is having a Maaskant T320 – HHT – ESD towing winch with a 200 tons brake on the second layer with a capacity of 750 mtr 54 mm diameter tow wire.
