General cargo ships built 1970-1979 (Over 3000gt) | | Description: | GALINA II is seen berthing at Liverpool on 13.10.97 to load breakbulk cargo for Lagos, Nigeria. She was built at Nikolaev in 1975 as KAPITAN SLIPKO for the USSR-Black Sea Shipping Company of Odessa.
The local company Kaalbye Shipping purchased the vessel in 1997 and renamed her GALINA II, eventually selling her to breakers at Mumbai where she arrived 23.5.2000. |
