Yes the 'babbling brook' used to produce some excellent meals from that little galley.
The crews mess room was aft, so the poor old mess man & deck boy had to carry the food every meal.
You can imagine what it was like in rough weather when we were carrying deck cargo.

At least the galley range is lit and I also notice what looks like a deck squeegee on top of the locker abaft the funnel. A reminiscent photo indeed. Great.
