If there is anyone who can use the interior, it will be dumped in container for environmental treatment, recycling is not profitable to spend the time on, unfortunately.

Bendt

Yes the sofa was very comfortable, I took a break before I continued around, unfortunately, no one wanted it so it came directly in the container :-))

Hi again Bendt: That corner Settee/Sofa looks very comfy, I don't suppose you could rescue it & send it over to Chile!
Cheers!

Hi Patagualino,
So many of the ships from the 70s is still fully functional but is unfortunately too expensive to adapt to environmental demands today, and there is also the crisis, they can not get enough to do, so the shipowner will need to scrap them. And yes it's always sad when such fine ships may be scrapped

Hi Bendt, more well-maintained ships meeting their inevitable end. Sad, always sad.The tales they could tell eh?
But great photos, always interesting to see how ships seemed to be scrapped "younger" these days. Guess it's just another side to our consumer-driven society. Nothing is intended to last any more it seems to me.
